This is the Most Adorable Film About Child Diabetes Ever Made

Diabetes sucks. There’s no need to put it kindly. When diabetes is allowed to exist in a child, it makes you want to punch a sunflower to get some petty revenge on nature.

It’s a hell-of-a feat, then, that director Joe Hitchcock (Penny Black) and producer Morgan Leigh Stewart (Deathgasm) could create a 3-minute documentary that manages to provide an insight to what it’s like being a child with diabetes as well as being too damn cute for words. Though I suppose most of the credit for the latter should go to the film’s peppy four-year-old subject, Dahlia.
