PARKING
Parking around the Paramount can be difficult, especially during weekends. The Reading carpark is just down the road though, and is an ideal option should you be unable to find a park on the street. There are also bus stops right outside the front door, so public transport is a great option.

DISABLED FACILITIES
Lift access from street level, and from there all three cinemas are accessable. There is a disabled toilet available.
HISTORY
One of Wellington’s oldest cinemas, the Paramount has been an institution on Courtenay Place since 1917. The first “talkie” in New Zealand was screened at the Paramount. In 2005 the single screen complex became a 3 screen which has allowed the programme to be diversified. One of the last truly independent cinemas, the Paramount continues to offer a wide and challenging film programme and proudly supports local film makers.
