REBECCA BARRY - Flicks.co.nz, NZ Herald
Rebecca is an arts and entertainment writer who often wears dark glasses to the movies (she's a crier). She reviews films for Flicks.co.nz and is a columnist at the New Zealand Herald.
DOMINIC CORRY - 95bFM, Herald on Sunday
AKA Fabian Fanboy, Dominic reviews for bFM and Herald on Sunday. He reckons Paul Verhoeven and Brian De Palma are both probably jerks, but they remain his favourite directors, and he would happily sit down for a beer with either one of them.
JAMES CROOT - Flicks.co.nz, The Press
James has been a film writer for 15 years. He's the chief film reviewer at The Press, writes for Flicks.co.nz and appears on RadioLive. He lives in Christchurch (south of Auckland).
ANDREW HEDLEY - Flicks.co.nz
Andrew, Flicks' chief film critic, was asked to write his own blurb for this page. He didn't do it.
DANIEL McCLELLAND - Flicks.co.nz
While he studied Film at University, McClelland worked the graveyard shift as a projectionist at a local multiplex. For three years, he would watch esoteric art films during the day and by night he would devour sequels, superheroes and romantic comedies. He promptly began juggling three passions: testing software, performing stand-up comedy and reviewing for Flicks.co.nz.
STEVE NEWALL - Real Groove, 95bFM
Steve works in music but is easily distracted by films. He reviews them for the Groove Guide and Real Groove, natters about DVDs on 95bFM and pops up from time to time on TV3's Sunrise.
FRANCESCA RUDKIN - NZ Herald
Francesca is a wildly experienced journalist and TV producer. Currently she reviews films for the New Zealand Herald and appears on TV One's Breakfast.
DANIEL RUTLEGDE - TV3, Rip It Up
Dan is the entertainment editor for 3news.co.nz, reviews for Film3, does the popcorn section of Rip It Up magazine and talks about the most extreme movies on the planet as DVDan on bFM show Carnival in Rio. He often misses appointments and his online gaming / prison name is Cutty Face.
PAUL SCANTLEBURY - Flicks.co.nz
Paul is Flicks.co.nz's editor. He is a tardy and unreliable employee but makes up for it with witty, off-handed comments and an exceptionally low wage requirement.
