Man is an endangered species brink on extinction but one man will change this living in small pockets in Radioactive areas where the aliens can not go . Its time for man to fight back for his survival.I can not see why this got such a bad wrap its got the big names the storyline although a bit silly is good and the special effects are so so I still watch this movie once every cuople of months then again Im a sci fi geek and really do love most sci fi movies .Give it a go its probably in the dollar rentals of your videoshop and will fill in a couple of hours and hopefully youll like it to

Press Reviews

Chicago Sun-Times (Roger Ebert)

Awful in so many different ways. Full review.

Los Angeles Times

Compounded by a dated visual style, patched-together special effects and ludicrous dialogue, Battlefield Earth is a wholly miserable experience. Full review.

New York Times

It may be a bit early to make such judgments, but Battlefield Earth may well turn out to be the worst movie of this century. Full review.

Rolling Stone (USA)

With this kind of epic ineptitude -- hell, the flick is set in the year 3000 -- you go for "worst of the millennium." Full review.

Time (USA)

The worst movie in living memory. Full review.

Variety (USA)

Yet the overall look, though derivative ("The Matrix," "Blade Runner," "Waterworld," etc.), rates as Battlefield's one non-guilty pleasure. Full review.
