Better than most of its contemporaries
Good, a comedy which doesn't try to be anything else. I was really getting tired of the moralistic-comedy, the action-comedy and the, lord forgive, horror-comedy.
Two brilliant comedic actors keep up a great pace of endless laughs making Blades of Glory the first comedy I've seen that's been worth its entry price for some time.
Bloody Hilarious
Lo loves ice skating, Al loves comedy. What a marriage made in heaven. We chuckled and belly-laughed our way through this one
during a 8 hour overseas flight. But would have gone to the flicks anyway to see it. Will Ferrell especially was mind-blowingly funny.
Lo adored the ice skating. There was plenty of this and even though it was all "engineered" or photo-shopped she was drooling. Salchow, Lutz, Walley and a whole lotta moves never before seen performed on ice...Well, in between choking on her vegie crisp (they won't serve nuts anymore on airline flights).She wants to see it again ..and I have to pay !
It could have been so much more
This movie could have been so much better, but it was crap. Storylines were flimsy, characters were shallow and it wasn't even funny.
Don't see this movie, better use that money for something like a pizza, better for your health then this crap!
Can't help but love it...
It made me laugh till I cried. That's enough for me. :)
