Taking The Waewae Express
This independent, micro-budget feature film (shot on High Definition video), is the first feature of Wellington filmmakers Andrea Bosshard and Shane Loader and centres around the death of a young man in a car accident. It looks at the impact of this on his friends and family and particularly his best mate who was driving and caused the accident. A story with an unfortunately tragic resonance in New Zealand, and it's "boy racer" scene.
