Off caving for life
After reading the critics' reviews i was expecting to be really really scared, but wasn't, thankfully, as I'm not much of a horror fan. I do love femme adventure stories and studies of female friendships, tragedies and clever cinematography. Although there wasn't time to develop the characters to any great depth with all that action going on the gals early scenes felt real, with some great moments of complexity.
Once again reviews had revealed too much - wish I hadn't known about what awaited or seen certain images that promote the film.
Loads of blood and gore and pain but I never jumped in any of the scenes, even though I had escaped down there with them and was thorough engrossed.
No-one considering caving should see this film, as it make it seem like complete bloody madness.
