Went into this excited and came out with a big smile on my face the last half with the action was amazing and worth the admission price. However the first half dragged on abit and the whole job hunting seemed unnesecary. Loved hearing galvatron (Leonard Nemoy) playing sentinel prime. Didnt enjoy the little transformers being back in this one from the second. However loved and would recommend it but I am a huge Transformers fan so what would you expect Anything with Optimus Prime gets me paying to see it.
One of the most tedious films I've ever had the misfortune to sit through, and this is coming from somebody who enjoyed the first film. Serious pacing issues kill the opening couple of hours. By the time the action finally picked up in the last 40 mins or so I had lost interest. All the special effects in the world can't make up for a paper thin "plot" & uninteresting characters. The kiddies may enjoy the "humour" but even they would be put to sleep by the time the action picks up. Lets just hope this is the end for the Bay/Transformers franchise.
Transformers 3 is a payoff. At the last quarter of the film, you will witness an amazing, mind-blowing, visual spectacle of Cleopatric proportions. Proceeding that, you'll be subjected to moronically cheap "humour", deviant shots of the next doll-up generic chick Hollywood's trying to pimp out and irritating songs crow-barred in to sell a soundtrack, all wrapped up in a (predictably) incompetent "plot" needlessly drawn-out to give the illusion of epic-ness. Many will make that trade with ease, and I won't blame you. For me however, I was left watching a two-hour train wreck followed by an explosive half-hour train wreck.
Extra ordinary long dragging boring thin script with a kind of fiery finale. Just arrive 40 minutes before the movie ends and your missing nothing.
Loved the first, second one sucked majorly, and the third was the funniest out of the three but still sucked!!
I think it's time for Michael Bay to go back to music videos and the transformers film have a reboot.
The transformers are back again. Autobots and Decepticons. Sam played by Shia LeBeouf is back with a new girlfriend called Carly played by Rosie Hunington Whitely, she is smoking hot. Now the plot is much but the battle scenes and special effects are decent and it is superior to the 2nd film
u have to go watch this it action packed... thriller by micheal bay. far better then the second one and nearly better then the first.
This movie totally lived up to my expectations. It has awesome cars that transform into awesome robots, killer fighting scenes with mean as explosions. The only part i didnt like, i felt they didnt do a good enough job explaining Megan Fox's absence.
From the second movie , bay has created more exciting robots , and characters .I think this transformers has totally made other action movies feel challenged .
Pros - Very Good action , loved the driller
-More robots
-More Destruction
- Biggest transformers movie
-Still guessing more to come
Cons - Story could have been better
- movie rolled out very fasr
-Some robots were complicated (decipitons)
Overall - It is very hard to say this movie makes up other transformers movies but yes the action , the visuals , and the amazing sound effects were totally designed to be too good . Lastly i would say it is definitely worth the 2d and 3d and Imax#d prices but some fans may still want fox back , like i do

I loved the first Transformers movie; it was action-packed, funny and seemed to poke fun at it's own cheesy dialogue. The second movie was terribly disappointed and I vowed not to see a third movie. Somehow I got sucked in and saw it on the world's third largest screen in Melbourne. I found it as bad as the second movie. The characters are annoying, the plot is rubbish and the dialogue is abysmal.
I'd only recommend you see this movie if you're after a long brain-disconnect where you can stare blankly at big VFX robots fighting - and nothing else.
It turned out to be a great movie especially when it come to 3D. Michael Bay gave us what we wanted; lot actions, stunts and more robots.
Far too dragged out. it started off with a good premise and could have been a vast improvement on the 2nd film with the moon conspiracy story at the start, but it just fell flat.
The special effects were impressive, but after seeing the first two films it gets very repetitive and eventually after two hours in i found myself looking around the movie theatre wishing that it would hurry up and finish.
I was lucky enough to see this movie with my son thanks so very much to Flicks.co.nz.Definatley the best of the three the second was alright but this was the cherry on top. Non stop action shame they didnt have Megan Fox.Who cares if shes a cow, shes hot and a way better actor than new girl with to much collagen in her lips .Anyway me and my young lad really enjoyed it its a good movie for the lads to see .This is how i want to remember Transformers. Awesomness in disguise:)
I think I disliked this movie so much because I though the first was so good. It really set a benchmark that the second fell short of. Now in this I feel the franchise is trying to redeem itself but falls short. There is really nothing new besides the actors and a few plot changes.
I personally was never into the Transformers movies but my partner took me and my son to see thisand well blow me down its action non stop from bumper to bumper the visuals are amazing just wish that i had watched the other two fisrt instead of asking my son and partner all these questions. I do hope there is another
BOOM!! BANG!! KABOOM!! CRASH & BURN
terrible acting. one-dimensional actors. terrible story line. too long too boring. I felt myself checking my phone for the time too see when it would finish. cringe-worthy is an understatement. the special effects did not hide any of the awfulness. to think they wasted 195MILLION on this piece of crap.
Whether you are subjected to this dreadful garbage in two or three dimensions, one thing's certain - it will still stink. And yeah, I've seen every Michael Bay movie. From the fun of THE ROCK and ARMAGEDDON to the overreaching of PEARL HARBOUR and BAD BOYS 2... Hell, I even sat through the excretia that was TRANSFORMERS 2 - but this?? Just a huge headache - what a sorry mess. One star for the worst actress EVER on screen! She made Megan Fox look like Meryl Streep. Excellent 3D which amazes for all of 5 minutes before becoming tedious. My 5 year old LOVED it. Me? I was just dumbfounded that a movie could actually be worse than TRANSFORMERS 2!!!
