we often find the volume is too loud .Morning sessions are usually for the more elderly an dgthe noise is to much.plese tone down a bit.lus oung people are going tomhabe hearing problems with the terrible noise. We enjoy films but pleas just a bit less noisy.

Yay - finally went to see Valentine's Day at Manukau.
The volume in the cinema was just too loud.
Don't cinemas do sound checks regularly?
Ruined the whole movie for us.
Watch this space for feedback of the movie to come.

  • Randomly cool

Press Reviews

  • Chicago Sun-Times (Roger Ebert)

Valentine's Day is being marketed as a Date Movie. I think it's more of a First-Date Movie. If your date likes it, do NOT date that person again. And if you like it, there may not be a second date.

Yet another Hollywood romantic comedy that's all but devoid of romance and laughs.

  • Los Angeles Times

The veteran Marshall has proved a quick study, serving up the pastiche with panache so the stars mostly shine, the story snippets mostly amuse and you'll barely notice all the empty spots where a plot used to be.

Ultra-sweet, safe and sporadically heartwarming, this never makes the most of its cast but will no doubt be bulletproof at the box office. Coal-black hearts, you’ve been warned…

As gooey and lacking in protein as a chocolate holiday bonbon, Valentine's Day plays like a feature-length commercial produced by the Friends of the Valentine Promotional Society.

Disappointing romcom that falls painfully flat, thanks to a badly written script, poor direction, boring characters, cliched storylines and a shocking lack of laughs.
