Using snipettes from the 1929 Charley Chase two-reeler Movie Night as a framing device, director Robert Youngson offers vintage clips from the silent era's greatest clowns - Charlie Chaplin, Fatty Arbuckle, Mabel Normand, Wallace Beery, Anita Garvin, Marion Byron, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy and others.
