2012 MTV Movie Awards Are Not A Total Embarassment
Some may debate whether or not anything related to the MTV Movie Awards counts as a worthwhile news story. However, this year's nominees list is sure to perk a number of eyebrows.
The Hunger Games and Bridesmaids lead the charge for Movie of the Year, each picking up eight nominations. While it comes of little surprise to see Breaking Dawn - Part 1 in the same running, it only managed to scrape into the festivities with a meagre two nominations.
It makes sense, given the nominees list was selected by a panel of industry insiders (as opposed to the ever-reliable online voting public).
Flicks' beloved Drive (which we donned 2011's #1 movie) even managed to garner three nominations, including Best Male Lead and Best Music for the track "A Real Hero".
