Andrew Adamson's 'Mr. Pip' Premières at TIFF + Gallery
Kiwi filmmaker Andrew Adamson (Shrek) has taken his latest drama Mr. Pip to the Toronto International Film Festival where it received a standing ovation in its première screening. The film stars Hugh Laurie and is based on the 2006 novel by fellow New Zealander Lloyd Jones.
A writer for Iceberg Ink proclaims "I actually hope that Mr. Pip is one of the bigger successes of TIFF this year as I was truly affected by it, and I'd easily vote it as one of the best so far this year."
We also have six images from the film. Check 'em'out.
