'Avengers' and 'Harry Potter' Blu-Ray Collections Revealed
In an arousing display of affection for its geek-core audience (me), Disney and Warner Home Video have revealed the Blu-Ray Collector's Box Sets for their respective big-name film franchises: Marvel’s The Avengers and Harry Potter.
Each set is packed with wallet-intimidating goodness. Fingers crossed they make it to NZ shores.
Marvel Cinematic Universe – Phase One: Avengers Assembled
This beast contains a 10-disc set, including The Avengers and the five superhero films leading up to it, packed in the S.H.I.E.L.D. case that contained the Tesseract. Each movie gets its own sleeve, gorgeously designed by artist Matthew Ferguson. Check ‘em out (via Marvel):
Harry Potter Wizard’s Collection
Easily mistaken for a cabinet, this Blu-Ray and DVD collection houses a monstrous 31 discs, containing all the previously released content plus five whole hours of non-released stuff (as well as digital versions of each film). More info will be fed out on the collection’s site over the coming days.
