Big News About Avengers 2 and Marvel TV series

The news has just broken that Joss Whedon will be returning to direct Avengers 2 - which is amazing, although we probably won't get to see it until 2015.

In equally awesome news, Whedon is working with Marvel to develop a live-action TV series featuring Marvel characters.

Disney CEO Bob Iger made these announcements at the company’s investors conference call - and that's all the information to hand at this stage.

The Avengers is out on Blu-ray and DVD August 29.
