'Drive' Sequel May Already Be In Development
James Sallis, author of the novel behind Flicks' 2011 movie of the year Drive, has completed his follow-up book, titled Driven. Subtle.
This all comes from Slashfilm, reporting that Sallis is keen for his sequel to be filmed, eagerly stating that it's already in development. However, we have yet to get any confirmation from Ryan Gosling as to whether he'll reprise his role.
Taking place seven years after the events in the original, the driver resides in Phoenix as a newlywed. That brief stint with happiness is given a ruthless curb-stomp when his wife is killed, re-introducing our hero back into the arms of uncontrollable violence.
