E.T. Blu-Ray: Guns, Yes! Walkie-Talkies, No!
The Blu-Ray trailer for Steven Spielberg’s E.T. hit the ‘webs not too long ago. In a rousing display of awesomeness, the announcer proudly states how the restoration has been derived “from 35mm films elements,” followed by walkie-talkie-less FBI agents holding some family-friendly firearms like they were meant to.
Following the fans’ distaste for the ‘Digital Enhancements’ that plagued the prior editions, this trailer for E.T.'s HD release has an “I learned my lesson” sentiment that we should all get behind (especially you, George).
