First Trailer For Wes Anderson's 'Moonrise Kingdom'
Here's the first trailer from the latest work of the Duke of Dysfunction and the Sheik of Style, Wes Anderson.
Moonrise Kingdom, his first film after 2009's Fantastic Mr. Fox, is set on a peaceful island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965.
It tells the story of two twelve-year-olds (newcomers Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward) who fall in love and run away together into the wilderness. Various authorities try to hunt them down, including local sheriff (Bruce Willis making his Anderson debut) and a scout leader (Edward Norton, ditto) as a storm is gathering off-shore.
Bill Murray, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and Jason Schwartzman also star. There is no NZ release date right at this moment, but stayed tuned for more...
