It's Jon Hamm Vs. Larry David In 'Superbad' Director's Next Comedy

Mad Men star Jon Hamm and Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Larry David are set to co-star in director Greg Mottola’s (Superbad, Paul) upcoming untitled improv comedy. Showbiz411 says the film is about a rivalry between David’s “Larry David like” character and his chiselled jaw nemesis, the role Hamm is about to sign on for. The script is receiving a touch-up by David and his Seinfeld crew, with shooting beginning in their autumn.
It’s exciting stuff. Larry David’s the godfather of awkward American comedy while Jon Hamm has shown his ability to crack a funny, making some golden appearances on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock. The pairing looks destined to work.
