Kick-Ass 2 May Actually Happen
According to Deadline, Universal is in the talking stage of Kick-Ass 2's development, though it hasn't quite promised a committed relationship yet. It's really only a matter of time, however.
The plan is to start production by August, with Jeff Wedlow (Cry Wolf, Never Back Down) taking the writing-directing role. Their hoping to get Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and the ever-popular Chloe Moretz to reprise their roles.
Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn is unable to take the director's chair this time, due to his commitment to the next X-Men: First Class instalment. We can forgive him for that.
