Ledger Inspires U.S. TV Drama

Late Australian actor Heath Ledger's death will serve as the inspiration for U.S. TV crime drama Law & Order.

The show is notorious for using real-life headlines as inspirations for its plot lines.

The New York Post reports that a show insider described the plot about a male model who "has a great career and gets all the ladies (and) leaves a club with a girl. They have sex and do drugs, and the next morning, his friend finds him dead."

Ledger died from an accidential prescription drug overdose in January.
