Russell Crowe to play Noah in Aronofsky's Adaptation

Paramount have officially announced that not-kiwi actor Russell Crowe will lead Darren Aronofsky's unique take on the biblical epic Noah, playing the titular character.

"I rejoice that Russell Crowe will be by my side on this adventure. It's his immense talent that helps me to sleep at night. I look forward to being wowed by him everyday,” Darrenofsky said kindly.

Shooting begins in July.
