Sony Makes Plans for 'Jumanji' Reboot and 'MiB 4'
Collider reports Sony Pictures’ plans for two of its major projects. The first is, unsurprisingly, another instalment to the Men in Black series. MiB 3 made a very respectable profit, so they’ll probably keep busting out sequel after sequel until Tommy Lee Jones dies. However, given his brief role in the third, that probably wouldn’t stop them.
The second holds a bit more surprise: Sony is planning a ‘re-imagining’ of the 1995 ludo-of-death film Jumanji. Columbia Pictures (owned by Sony) President stated their attempts at rebooting the family-friendly flick for a modern-day audience. So don’t rule out the possibility of seeing irritating Facebook game notifications that read “Robin Williams has invited you to stop a stampede of wilderbeasts from levelling his house.”
I hate Mafia Wars.
