Stalker Rom-Com Wins 'Make My Movie' Competition
The winning entry
The winner of the Make My Movie comp has just been announced, with the winning film being a rom-com about a peeping tom stalker.
Titled How To Meet Girls From A Distance, the film is about Tony, a chap who scrounges through attractive girls rubbish bins in order to get to know as much as he can about them before actually meeting them. He is then able to present himself as their perfect man.
The winners behind the idea are Wellingtonians Dean Hewison, Richard Falkner and Sam Dickson. The aspiring filmmakers will now see receive $100,000 to turn their movie idea into an actual feature movie.
Over 750 entries were received in the competition.
