STUDIOCANAL Purchases Hoyts Distribution
A signed agreement has been made for STUDIOCANAL to acquire 100% of Hoyts Distribution NZ and Australia, which contains a film library of over half of the Saw franchise and all of the Twilight saga.

The Hoyts Distribution acquisition will allow STUDIOCANAL to have new opportunities for its international productions such as Paddington (produced by David Heyman), will look at new opportunities for its international productions in Australia and will also strengthen the exploitation of its catalogue in this market.

We believe there are strong opportunities in this territory for our films.”
