Kevin Smith Signs Distro Deal For 12 New Films A Year And Four Tours.
Deadline report that director Kevin Smith has signed a deal which partners his new film company SModcast Pictures with movie distributors Phase 4. The deal is for SModcast to supply 12 new films a year for distro. Eight will be distributed digitally, while four will have cinema releases that will see Smith tagging along touring the movies.

'The Crow' Reboot Could Be Back From The Dead...
Rebooters Relativity Media have "amicably settled" their legal battle with claimed rights holder The Weinstein Company over plans to reboot goth-superhero film The Crow. A statement has just been released that states both sides have "dismissed" their claims against the other. This presumably allows Relativity Media's dream to restart work on the film.

Superman's Love Interest Cast.  
ComingSoon have the news that 13-year-old Jadin Gould (Battle: Los Angeles) has joined the cast of Zack Snyder's Superman reboot Man Of Steel as love interest Lana Lang. Yes, this is for the origin part of this origin story, when Supes is still a kid, running gaily through the cornfields down on the farm in Smallville, rather than later on when he's all growsed up, regularly saving the world and blowing his shit with Lois Lane every two seconds.

Director Drops 'Total Recall' News
Director Len Wiseman has been interviewed by Collider who gleaned the info that the trailer for the Colin Farrel starring Total Recall reboot will hit in March, his "director's cut" is currently "close to two hours," but he still has a lot of visual effect shots to put in and that he's most excited about the way the reboot, "really plays with fantasy versus reality".
