If you're after a full rundown of who has won what at today's Golden Globes as it happens and without any superfluous commentary or bs then you're encouraged to click here. We'll be posting all the winners names as they're announced.
Captain America Is The Star Of 'The Avengers' Show....
Director Joss Whedon has told Entertainment Weekly that Captain America is pretty much the main star of his upcoming superhero extravaganza The Avengers. "So much of the movie takes place from Steve Roger's perspective, since he's the guy who just woke up and sees this weird ass world. Everyone else has been living it," Whedon said referring to events at the end of last year's Captain America (oh yeah, spoiler alert).
Spielberg Wants To Take The Power Back On 'Tintin 3'.
While promoting War Horse in France, Steven Spielberg has been talking about the upcoming Tintin sequels. He wouldn't say much about Tintin 2 only revealing that "the script is now being written and Peter [Jackson] will start working on the film this year." When asked about Tintin 3, Spielberg said he'd like to take the power back, saying "I'm hoping I'll be able to direct the third one. I'd love to do the third one because I had so much fun on the first one."
Fox Planning To Reboot 'The Fantastic Four' With Added Street Cred
Variety are reporting that 20th Century Fox are gearing up to reboot the Fantastic Four movie series. The rumour is that the studio are eying up Josh Trank, the director of the upcoming "found footage" superhero film Chronicle, to direct the picture and are hoping he'll give the kid friendly superhero team some street cred and quality in the same vein of last year's X-Men First Class. Which is all good until you hear that for some reason they have hired Green Lantern writer Michael Green to script the film.
Nolan Asks "Are You Not Entertained?"
Christopher Nolan has spoken to Entertainment Weekly about the controversy surrounding his mumbly, near incomprehensible villain Bane in The Dark Knight Rises. "I think when people see the film things will come into focus," Nolan said, although we don't think focus was ever the problem it was the audio, but ya know, whatever. "Bane is very complex and very interesting and when people see the finished film people will be very entertained by him."
Amanda Seyfried To Respectfully Go Full Monty In Her 'Deep Throat' Biopic.
The male stars of Steve Soderbergh's male stripper film Magic Mike may be too shy to let it all hang out in the film, but E!Online are reporting that Mamma Mia! actress Amanda Seyfried has no such fear, as she will be shown completely starkers in Lovelace, one of the two upcoming films about the 70s adult actress Linda Lovelace. "It's very risque and there will be lots of nakedness in the movie, especially for Seyfried," Producer Patrick Muldoon told them. "It's a new thing for her. She's doing an amazing job." Muldoon then went on to say, "Yes there's a lot of nudity but it's a message movie about respecting women.".
