Aykroyd Ain't Afraid Of Recasting Bill Murray's Character Dr Peter Venkman In 'Ghostbusters III'...
Well that's what Empire are reporting anyway. Sadly their story does not include any direct quotes from Dan Aykroyd to back this up, with the article only saying that he "hinted at" the fact that he may recast the part if Bill Murray isn't keen. This would be of course blasphemy of the highest order but as Ghostbusters III is not a greenlit project and is pretty much still just a twinkle in Aykroyd's eye, we're not starting any online petitions just yet...

'Transformers 4' Will Be Out In 2014
Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura has confirmed to SuperHeroHype.com that the Atuobots and the Decepticons will battle it out for a fourth time in the summer of 2014. But right now trilogy director Michael Bay has still not signed on to the project. "Michael and I are both the same in that we always like to top ourselves. That doesn't necessarily mean bigger," the producer said. "It can be bigger in places, it just means different, but we're going to push really hard as fresh and new as we can be."

Jim Carrey's French Comedy To Shoot In Germany...
Screen Daily report that Jim Carrey's upcoming comedy Pierre Pierre will begin shooting in Germany this Summer. Directed by the superb Larry Charles (Borat), the film is about a French nihilist (played by Carrey) who hatches a scheme to steal the Mona Lisa in order to sell it on therefore raising enough money to be able to afford to move out of his parent house.

Jolie Getting Her 'Evil Queen' On Next...
Angelina Jolie has told the Hollywood Reporter that her next project will be Disney's Sleeping Beauty reimagining Maleficent. "I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this," she said referring to her directorial debut, the Bosnian war film Land of Blood and Honey. "The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie." The film takes the familiar fairy tale but switches the focus to evil Queen.

Nic Cage "Pumped" For A 'Ghost Rider III'.
Directing pair Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor have told IndieWire that Ghost Rider III is already being talked about. "There's been a talk about [a sequel]," Neveldine said. "I know Nic wants to do it, he's very pumped about it."

Today In Melodies That Have Become Unchained: Because it's Valentine's Day, we thought we'd play one of the great romantic scenes of the 90s to set the mood.

Today In Trivia: Sleeping Beauty, released in 1959, was the last fairy tale Disney Studios made until The Little Mermaid came out 30-years later in 1989.

Today's Bad Movie Tagline: The tagline for Dan Aykroyd's drama This Is My Life: "It's 10pm. Do you know where your mother is?" Well depends what night it is, but she's either at mahjong or asleep. And dude, it's pretty creepy asking about people's mothers. You probably want to stop doing that.

Happy Birthday! To the hilariously awesome nerd ambassador Simon Pegg, who is 42 today.
