Michael Bay Now Officially Going To Ruin 'Transformers' For A Fourth Time.
Following yesterday's announcement of a 2014 release date, Deadline now have the scoop that Michael Bay has been officially confirmed as the director of Transformers 4. The film is a supposedly "part sequel/part reboot" and Bay's website promises that the film "will bring audiences a new take on the Transformers franchise".

Mattel Looking To Make Hoverless 'Back To The Future' Hoverboards.
News.com is reporting that toy maker Mattel are looking at making replicas of the pink hoverboard used by Marty McFly in Back To The Future. The first catch is that they don't hover and the second catch is that the hoverboards future is based on pre-orders. "If we don't receive the minimum orders [they] won't go into production," a Mattel spokesperson said. so with Nike bringing out the BTTF kicks, Mattel bringing out the hoverboard all we need is for DeLorean to return to production and we'll be able to live out our childhood ambition of being Marty McFly. Word.

Spielberg Gives Sir Pete Some 'Tintin' Work To Do.
Steven Spielberg has confirmed to TotalFilm that Peter Jackson will begin the month long physical motion-capture shoot for the animated Tintin sequel immediately after he finishes shooting The Hobbit films in June/July.
