Transformers 2 Robots Revealed!
Paramount has released a list of names of robots appearing in Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen (opens June 25).
The Autobots, aka the 'good guys' are: leader Optimus Prime (See him fight Stay Puft Man in our latest feature), Ironside, Ratchet, and Bumblee (now a 2020 Chevy Camaro).
They are joined by Jetfire, female Autobot Arcee (a motorbike), Jolt, and Skids & Mudflap (also known as The Twins).
As for the bad guys, the Decepticons will include Starscream (now in charge after Megatron's demise) and Scorponok - both returning from the first movie. New characters include Sideways, Ravage (that panther-type thing seen in the trailer), Soundwave (now a satellite), The Doctor (a really tiny one), Wheelie, Demolisher (that massive thing with a giant wheel seen fighting Prime in the trailer), and the seven Constructicons that will form the massive Devastator. They are Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload and Mixmaster.
And don't forget The Fallen himself. Itself? Herself? This is the big ugly baddie that the plot revolves around.
Rumours are suggesting that Megatron might make a return from the dead, but still nothing confirmed on that front, aside from the fact that Hugo Weaving (who voiced Megatron in the first) has done some vocal recordings.
