A "relentlessly girly" chickity-flickity. Following a violent storm, a beautiful and sassy teenage mermaid named Aquamarine (Paxton) washes ashore and into the lives of two pubescent best friends (Emma 'niece of Julia' Roberts and Jojo) about to be parted at summer's end.
When Aquamarine falls for the local, hunky lifeguard, she enlists the girls' help to win his heart and in exchange offers to grant the girls one wish. I'd ask for a million bucks.
