Living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, Po is happy protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters - Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Crane (David Cross), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Monkey (Jackie Chan). Bigger and better than the original, Panda 2 skilfully avoids the curse of the sequel with wit, flair and a 3D paw to the face.

Accomplishes the depressingly familiar mathematical trick of being both more and less than its predecessor.

The animation is elegant, the story is much more involving than in the original, and there's boundless energy.

It all moves along briskly, with a degree of visual grace and a solid feel for 3D.

A richer plot, life lessons and loving Chinese cultural references rendered by turns sweet, scary and charming, with yet more fantastical kung fu, make this an engaging winner. Stunning visuals make it real art as well.

The 2008 original Kung Fu Panda was pretty much impossible not to like.

The sequel remains visually beautiful and strikingly designed, but otherwise, it's a surprise in all the wrong ways.

Great take on all the old school kung fu movies. My girlfriend even had a tear in her eye haha. Nice and colour full with some very take bits done with the colour faded a bit. Some good laughs in it too of course, it does have Jack Black in it! Brilliantly done... would easily watch it again

Panda goes on a personal Journey on WHO he is & where he came from, it's dark in a way that he finds the truth about his past & also why he truly is the DRAGON WARRIOR. He grows to become a better person because he learns his own INNER PEACE, as we all should learn to forgive.

Not as good as the first, but a decent animation with characters a lot of people have come to love none the less. The animation itself was great, but the story kind of boring.

In 2008, Kung Fu Panda came as a pleasant surprise to audiences everywhere. Grossing in over $650 million worldwide, and garnering an extremely positive response from audiences and critics alike, praising the animation, action and humour among other honours, it seemed only a matter of time before a sequel was put into production, but one question lingers,...

What can I say it looks like this one is going to go on and on untill the cash cow has dried up. Me and my son went to see this at the movies but left a bit let down the first one.In the first film I was blinded by its awesomnes. This one left me more feeling smacked on the back of the head .It does seem to feel that this one was rushed along with no real...

I loved the first Kung Fu Panda. Its gorgeous oriental art style and jaw-dropping(-kicking-smashing-and-curb-stomping) animation complimented its satisfying origin story. With that said, the sequel still maimed my expectations, delivering a vastly superior film in every regard. While it triumphs as a family film, it excels as an unprecedented outlet of...
