Jackie Chan gets serious – producing and starring in this illegal immigrant tale which he describes as “one per-cent action… heavy drama”. He plays Steelhead – a tractor mechanic who enters Japan to search for his girlfriend. When he finds out she’s gone and got married to a Yakuza boss (played by Ken Watanabe from Letters From Iwo Jima) he and his friend Jie find themselves drawn into the dangerous world of gangland politics. Chan’s Hong Kong buddy Derek Yee (The Truth About Jane And Sam, Viva Erotica) directs.
