A fancy package of musical entertainment with wide appeal and bright grossing prospects.

But their careers look shaky as the movies transitions from the silent era to talkies. At a test screening of their new film, Lina's shrill voice - like nails on a blackboard - and Don's old-school acting is met with howling laughter. The solution? Features an array of Arthur Freed / Nacio Herb Brown songs including 'You Were Meant For Me', 'The Broadway Melody' and of course 'Singin' in the Rain'.
