Review

I quite liked the movie. There were certainly some cheesy parts but if you are into that sort of hip-hop stuff and don't mind being too cheesy then you should go see. (I really liked the music)

My review

Too cheezy. I didn't like the main character, felt like she was trying to be something she wasn't - her performance didn't come across as natural. Found that sometimes people would disappear out of the movie then reappear again with no explanation. Even the final dance was mehh. Wish I didn't waste my money going to see this one.

Skillfully pitched at its market, this is joyful in a way only the professionally grumpy (dads, film critics) could object to.
