Fun for 5 year olds. Agony for adults.
Whether you are subjected to this dreadful garbage in two or three dimensions, one thing's certain - it will still stink. And yeah, I've seen every Michael Bay movie. From the fun of THE ROCK and ARMAGEDDON to the overreaching of PEARL HARBOUR and BAD BOYS 2... Hell, I even sat through the excretia that was TRANSFORMERS 2 - but this?? Just a huge headache -...
hot actresses do not make up for a pile of sh*t movie
terrible acting. one-dimensional actors. terrible story line. too long too boring. I felt myself checking my phone for the time too see when it would finish. cringe-worthy is an understatement. the special effects did not hide any of the awfulness. to think they wasted 195MILLION on this piece of crap.
Very very good
I personally was never into the Transformers movies but my partner took me and my son to see thisand well blow me down its action non stop from bumper to bumper the visuals are amazing just wish that i had watched the other two fisrt instead of asking my son and partner all these questions. Better than the 2nd, but what wasn't.
Far too dragged out. it started off with a good premise and could have been a vast improvement on the 2nd film with the moon conspiracy story at the start, but it just fell flat. The special effects were impressive, but after seeing the first two films it gets very repetitive and eventually after two hours in i found myself looking around the movie...
Action only
I loved the first Transformers movie; it was action-packed, funny and seemed to poke fun at it's own cheesy dialogue. The second movie was terribly disappointed and I vowed not to see a third movie. Somehow I got sucked in and saw it on the world's third largest screen in Melbourne. I found it as bad as the second movie. The characters are annoying, the...

pressThe result may still be a big, bloated spectacle, but it's a big, bloated spectacle you can just about follow.

TVNZ
pressBack for a third time, the Autobots and the Decepticons continue their life long robotic battle

Total Film
pressA largely linear plot and some ingenious appropriation of 20th century history helps T3 correct most of T2’s deficiencies without really matching T1’s superior entertainment value and element of surprise.

The New York Times
pressNothing you see makes any sense at all, but the sensations are undeniable, and kind of fun in their vertiginous, supercaffeinated way.

Roger Ebert
pressA visually ugly film with an incoherent plot, wooden characters and inane dialog. It provided me with one of the more unpleasant experiences I've had at the movies.

Hollywood Reporter
pressThe millions of man hours put into producing this techno shock and awe must be staggering. Everyone got his job done, but somewhere along the way, the movie got lost.

Empire Magazine
pressAn improvement on Transformers 2, but then what isn't? To paraphrase the Bard, it's a tale, full of sound and fury and extremely stupid dialogue and nonsensical plotting and preposterous stunts and robots punching each other's heads off, signifying nothing.

Dominion Post
pressI think it's accepted wisdom now that the first of the Transformers films was a surprise
