Vertical Limit

High-adrenaline actioner starring Chris O'Donnell (Batman Forever) as retired mountain climber Peter Garrett, who embarks on a treacherous rescue effort up K2 - the world's second highest peak. Directed by Kiwi Martin Campbell and partially shot in New Zealand.

Confronting the memory of his father's death, his own limitations and the uncontrollable power of nature, Peter risks his life to save his sister, Annie, and her summit team in a race against time. With the team trapped in what could quickly become an icy grave at 26,000 feet - above the vertical limit of endurance - Peter enlists the help of a crew of fellow climbers, including reclusive mountain man Montgomery Wick (Scott Glenn, The Bourne Legacy), to ascend the world's most feared peak to save her.

Delivers with efficiency and craft, and there are times, when the characters are dangling over a drop of a mile, when we don't even mind how it's manipulating us.
