9th Tarantino film beats Gerard Butler’s 3rd “Has Fallen” at box office

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood got a bunch of folks along to cinemas over the weekend, raking in another half-million, and holding off Angel Has Fallen (which made similar $ to its predecessor, good work for an action three-quel).

Hobbs & Shaw and The Lion King continued their earning streaks, the latter only around $500k away from overtaking Titanic as the 6th highest-grossing film of all time here in NZ. Full info below.
