A Battle Angel earns its wings at the NZ box office

Big-budget sci-fi Alita: Battle Angel topped the New Zealand box office over the weekend, earning half a million more than second placer What Men Want. It’s a bittersweet victory for the James Cameron production, however, as its forecasted status of ‘worldwide bomb’ slowly becomes true.

It also appears that every single person in New Zealand has finally seen Aquaman with the film falling from #6 to outside of the Top 10.
