Alita waltzes into top spot at Kiwi box office

James Cameron’s pet project Alita: Battle Angel opened on Valentine’s Day and found itself with no big-budget action competition, leaping to the top of the box office this week. There’s daylight between the pricey Robert Rodriguez-directed sci-fi pic and more traditional rom-com What Men Want in second place, with Oscar candidate Green Book rounding out the top three.
