Final Destination 3

Final Destination 3

2006
Firstly, they should really do something about the title. A third final destination? Fool me once...

Movie franchise in which a group of teenagers get freaked because one's premonitions of death begin to come true. Setting up a tough mission to outrun death. In this one, high school senior Wendy (Winstead) joins her friends for a last day of school celebration at the local amusement park. Alas, whilst there she experiences a vivid premonition of a fatal accident involving the rollercoaster. Death by rollercoaster. Has had the best reviews of all 3.

Starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ryan Merriman

Directed by James Wong (Final Destination, The One)

Written by Glen Morgan, James Wong

should we question a movie trilogy that claims to have a final destination three times?

    not really - its ok.

A pretty darn good finale (maybe?) for a pop culture film, that will be looked back on as a cult classics.

Well well well. Who woulda thought there would be a trilogy...
This movie wasn't an edge of your seat type like the other two but more of a blood and guts fest!
The girls in the suntanning salon, you are kidding right!
Most of the freakish events seen in this movie are complete and utter rubbish, your average jo knows that most of it could never happen in the real world!
So whats the fun in that???

From what Ive seen of this movie off the net, it looks like it'll be the best! FD2 was better than the first, with a great story line to tie in the two, but now in FD3 death finally gets the better of them! Looks like it will be an awesome way to "kill" (end) the final destination franchise!

The problem with it is since it's clear to everyone who must die and in what order, the drama is reduced to a formula in which ominous events accumulate while the teenagers remain oblivious...

The plot's pretty lame, the dialogue is downright hokey, and the characters are a bore, but somehow "Final Destination 3" (an oxymoron if there ever was one) still delivers a certain degree of over-the-top amusement...
