Stuff

Independent dark comedy based on a short story by Irvine Welsh (also author of Trainspotting) following the romance of an ecstasy-addicted couple, set against the heady rave scene in Edinburgh. More

"Lloyd (Adam Sinclair) is a drug-dealing Edinburgh party animal having the time of his life at the heart of a vibrant clubbing scene. His mounting debt to the dodgy Solo is something that can wait for another day. Concern for his ailing father is the only cloud in his life. Then he meets the beguiling Heather (Kristin Kreuk), a woman desperate to escape the shackles of her dull, respectable life. Together, they try to develop their giddy, chemical romance into the real deal." (Glasgow Film Festival) Hide

Compare this with the other trailer on this site for a film of the same name. This one is obviously by someone who has taken E!

looks like a lame version of Trainspotting... i.e. everything else IW wrote

At least use the correct 'its' at the end of the trailer. A grammar faux pas.

Press Reviews

Little White Lies (UK)

The low budget is not enough to excuse the ineptitude on show. Avoid. Full review.

Telegraph (UK)

Ecstasy is partying like it’s the mid-Nineties, but thankfully, everyone else has moved on. Full review.

Total Film (UK)

Billy Boyd’s distinctly un-Pippin turn as a psycho drug dealer aside, there’s little of interest in this misjudged, miswritten mess. Full review.
