A stunning dancer, an obsessive artist, a palpable loss.

Australian documentary exploring the work of German-born dancer and choreographer Tanja Leidtke whose career was cut short by her unexpected death at age 29. More

In 2007, the Sydney Dance Company appointed Liedtke as their first new artistic director in 30 years. Before she could take up the position she was struck and killed by a truck in the middle of the night. Highly motivated and intense woman who did a lot in her short life. Very moving and definitely worth seeing even if you're not into dancing.

MOVING

TUBBS A-Lister (?)

I hadn't heard of Tania and I don't follow dance but the documentary conveyed how much hard work these athletes need to do to accomplish what they do. Tania was a perfectionist but also bit of a character off stage - a sad loss.

A heartfelt and valuable work that documents a remarkable young woman, who would have given us all such a fantastic body of dance work over the years. Full review.
