'Sione's 2' and 'Tinker Tailor' Open Big at NZ Box Office
Sione's 2: Unfinished Business - the first NZ sequel to be released in cinemas - has had the highest 4-day opening of any local film in NZ box office history. It brought in $775,000.

South Pacific Pictures (the NZ studio stalwart also behind Shortland Street, Outrageous Fortune and Whale Rider) where "delighted" with the audience response. "The tweets and blogs are delivering us terrific messages," said Sione's 2 producer John Barnett.
By the end of its first week in cinemas the Naked Samoan's movie pulled in $984,000 - the 3rd highest 7-day opening for the year.
Meanwhile, in the same week, British spy drama Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy had the 7th highest 7-day opening for the year.
