This was originally the site of Foresters Hall, which opened in 1914. After a closure, it re-opened as the Gaiety Theatre in 1931, and was again renamed (to The Tudor Theatre) from 1968. The building was demolished in 1998. In 2001 the current cinema complex was built, this was former cinema chain Berkeley Cinema’s first location. Monterey Cinemas took ownership in 2019.
