We’re mega-stoked to be hosting preview screenings of Aotearoa action-comedy The Legend of Baron To’a in Auckland (Event Queen St), Wellington (Lighthouse Cuba) and Christchurch (Hoyts EntX) on Monday, February 17.
Not in those cities? Don’t worry. We’ve got a bunch of in-season double passes up for grabs, too.
The feature directorial debut of Kiel McNaughton (co-producer of Waru and Vai) follows a Tongan entrepreneur who returns to his old neighbourhood and inadvertently causes the theft of his late father’s valued pro wrestling title belt. Failing to retrieve it, his only choice is to embrace his father’s legacy and mix it up with the physically imposing thieves.
