Life in India at the time was without consumerism and the luxuries of the West. So when four middle-class friends (Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang, Vir Das) start a business importing yuppie goods, they become an instant success. Quick money leads the unorthodox foursome to a life of glitz and glamour, and a new world in which the stakes are high and the risks even higher.
