Contagion
Action-thriller centered on the threat posed by a deadly disease and the international team of doctors fighting the outbreak. Directed by Steven Soderberg (Traffic), with an all-star cast including Matt Damon and Kate Winslet.
As the epidemic grows, the worldwide medical community (Winslet, Laurence Fishburne, Marion Cotillard) races to find a cure and control the panic that spreads faster than the virus. The film also follows ordinary folk (Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow) struggling to survive amongst city quarantines and a society falling apart.

I guess the lesson to be learnt is loud and clear in this film. How a virus can spread and become a international epidemic, is frightening...and has happened if we look back into history. Scary Fiction
We touch our faces over a thousand times a day? I scratch my crotch at least twice that :P anyway back to the movie, Scary as hell, it makes you think about the bigger picture with the world around you. I felt detached from it for a while with the empty streets, looting, no law & order. Will society really collapse that quikly? Something to think about....
Extremely Frightening
Soderbergh's brilliant direction shines here as he manages to create one of the most tense and scary thrillers that literally kept me on the edge of my seat. Brilliantly written with an OUTSTANDING ensemble. I'd like to also mention the great cinematography (sickly and yellow) and the energetic score keeping everything at a pace.

Now this movie was not too bad but sort of left thinking of all the other Virus type movies ever made.
