Delta Farce

Delta Farce

After losing his girlfriend and his job on the same day, Larry decides to join his buddies for a weekend of drinkin' and huntin'. But when the trio is mistaken for Army reservists by an angry Sergeant, they're loaded onto an army plane headed for Fallujah, Iraq… and mistakenly ejected somewhere over Mexico.

They get to put their gun skills to good use, however, when they become embroiled in a hostile village dispute with a local warlord called… 'Carlos Santana'.

If three of "The Magnificent Seven" had been Gomer Pyle, the result might have looked like Delta Farce, a movie rife with fat, fart and Fallujah jokes, but with a subcutaneous wit that has a lot to do with Iraq war fatigue...

Perhaps the people most insulted are white Southerners, who presumably are expected to embrace one whopping brain-dead metaphor...

A mindless comedy where the blatant racial stereotypes are outnumbered only by the flatulence jokes. The best thing that can be said about this movie is it falls just short of being an international incident...
