Doom

Doom

Based on the legendary first-person PC Shooter, this sci-fi horror stars Karl Urban and Dwayne Johnson as members of a Space Marines unit sent to investigate the mysterious events in a research facility on Mars that has ceased all communication with scientists. What the squad discovers is a monstrosity that their vast firepower may not be able to hold back. Co-stars Rosamund Pike and Deobia Oparei (who would go on to co-star with Urban again for 2012’s Dredd).

Doom is like some kid came over and is using your computer and won't let you play.

There's so little to go wrong that those who like their entertainment mindless and violent will find little fault.

What might have made for exciting action scenes tend to become mechanical exercises in first-person-shooter monster-blasting.
