The Press Reviews

  • A movie to leave playing in the background of a child's birthday party. Full Review

  • It replicates the template and the atmosphere of the original, but it lacks invention and emotional investment. Full Review

  • "Goosebumps 2" isn't a movie, exactly - it's a piñata of effects posing as a movie. By the end, there's nothing to do but sweep up the pieces. Full Review

  • It should please younger fans of the books who will have no problem with its rudimentary storyline all too repetitive of the original. But it does feel like a missed opportunity to elevate the valuable franchise to bigger and more imaginative heights. Full Review
